Welcome to the Land Registry Telephone Contact Number Website

What is the Land Registry?

The Land Registry is a public body where all properties must be filed and registered. In England and Whales, registration of property is compulsory whenever real estate is sold or purchased. For this reason, information provided here is of vital importance for you if you are going to buy a property of any kind, be it a lot of land, an apartment or a house.

The Land Registry has offices throughout the United Kingdom, but each section of the UK has one office assigned. In other words, the office where you will have to register the file for your property is determined by the place where that property is found. You need to know what is the right office in your case, and we provide that information here. If you know what office you have to contact, all you have to do is search our list and find it. If you aren't sure which one you should contact, then we can inform you. All we need to know is the location of your property and we will tell you right away which is your office and put you in direct contact with it if you want.

How do I use this service?

It is very simple to access the contact data of the Land Registry office when you use our website. We have contact numbers disclosed for all main offices or this public body. We provide 0844 numbers for all of them, which means that by calling these numbers you will be redirected to the office you need to contact.

If you check the column on the left side of our website, you will find the list. Keep in mind that the list of numbers is constantly growing, and we are building more direct access lines so you can call an increasing number of Land Registry offices. If you need the contact data of an office that isn't featured on our list, you can request it by writing to us. You can give us a call or use our contact section to write us an e-mail. We will do our best to provide you with the information that you need.

How does the Land Registry Telephone Contact Number work?

We provide 0844 numbers to all major offices in the Land Registry. Remember that if you live at Wales or England, it is mandatory that you register your property at the Registry right when you purchase it. You can find the numbers of Land Registry offices in Wales and England here. However, we also provide the numbers of several Scottish offices in case you need to make an enquiry or contact them for any other reason.

Remember that all calls to 0844 numbers have a charge. We do not charge you extra for the call or the transfer service. Base price will vary depending on the line from which you are calling. Mobile phones often have higher costs than landline calls.
